Hello everyone,
This is my first post so be nice to me 8-)
I'm running Avalaunch (latest ver) and think it's great. Everything seems to work fine. However, when I run DVD2Xbox to archive games (yes, archive my paid for games) to my hard disk, I get an error message that some files (no more than 4) have not been copied and that I should clean the cd and try again. The game seems to play from the HDD without problem even though I got that error? Is this normal? I tried two games (cd's were clean and without scratches) and it had problems each time? Granted, I have only does two games, but just wondered if this was a common problem?
Thanks for your help!

If the games play fine I wouldn't worry about it.. but I understand where you're coming from.

Check your drive tray, compare. The Thomson drive is more prone to errors than the others.
Obviously this may not be your problem, but a good starting point.
also, do a search on
DVD2Xbox error files or something along those lines.

In general it isn't good if files failed to copy. I heard this a few times here and I dunno if this is caused dvd2xbox (never had the same experience) or by other circumstances.
Enable the logfile, see which files are failed and try to copy it with other tools/ftp.

discs that are scratched up can cause this problem with dvd2xbox. i had a disc that dvd2xbox would not even recognize, but the dash did so i used file manager in avalaunch to copy the game over to the hd. the game played perfectly.
