This is weird. I burned a DVD+RW game (MK:Deception) and it works if it loads in the beginning. (If the dvd is in the xbox while it's off and then you turn it on.) But if I put the dvd after the first loading screen, when I press on "Launch DVD" nothing will happen. This also happens on XBMC where the dvd-rom drive is seen as "EMPTY". I have done the same thing with a dvd-r and if worked perfectly. Also I am using X2.6 lite, Evox dash M16plus, and Samsung drive (weird how the dvdrw works ) Any help appreciated.

Launch dvd is not the same as launch game. It is trying to play the game as a dvd video with the player you have pointed it to use in the evox.ini (if any) What you need to do to launch a game after loading is use a file manager like boxplorer go to the d: and find the default.xbe and then execute that. The game should then load.

Im not to sure as to why the drive would be showing as empty in XBMC though.
