ok i was giving this Xbox thats a Special Halo Edition..birthdate jan 2004..so is it a 1.4? what Kernel is that 5713? the xbox gives a Error 16 even when i rebuilt a hdd from stratch so i was thinking maybe a file was deleted like the xboxdash.xbe ..i replaced the xboxdash.xbe but it still gives error 16..
is it only a certain xboxdash file i can use for this box or its tryna loadup? or did the box die from UDE1? does it only take UDE2
any IDEA how i can restore this box back to XLIFE? by the way i have the EEprom of the system...and the backup of the c:\ was on the system..but could they be corrupt? if the system backup em up after it started the error..or would the xboxdash.bak and the msdash.bak still work? help is really needed ... p.s the box doesnt play games off error 16

nevermind fixed it ..all it needed was correct dash support and data dash files for it..and removing f0nts ..
by the way this wasnt my Xbox..i wouldnt delete dash files without copying em
