I got a problem with this box. i am going to use it for another box possibly tsop flash it. anywho, i need to get it working. it boots up, does the little flubber thingie, then just hangs there. the screen looks like its in widescreen mode and doesnt seem to get out. maybe motherboard? i dont want to take it apart yet cuz i might send it to MS, but what could be wrong before i do that? i could fix it myself if it the motherboard. please let me know. PM ME CUZ I WONT CHECK THIS POST OFTEN.

What happens if you unplug the drives and boot it up? Does it still hang? It sounde like you have drive problems.

ok which drive? the dvd or hd? i dont want to take it apart and if i do, i want to make sure i know the solution will fix the problem. so i have a backup stock drive with nothin on it and also i can get a drive easy. which is still the best dvd drive, the phillips or the new hitachi.

3) Did you change the video mode recently to widescreen and/or 480p or 720p
