my old philips gave up so now i need a new drive to read my originals. looking for a reasonably priced dvd drive that reads originals perfectly. doesn't matter which drive as long as it works. will pay with money order, cashiers check, or cod your choice.

I have the following:

1) 1 Thompson that is from a Xbox that was bought at launch and has been babied ever since. This one is from my Xbox. I upgraded to a Samsung 6-8 months ago so I could play ................ backups , yea that’s it backups because I ran out of room on my HD.

2) 1 temperamental Samsung. I bought this off of eBay from a guy that said it was "like new" well I think it was used allot. It was clean and read media like a champ when I got it. All was good and I gave the guy good feedback then I noticed that the drive sticks from time to time. I will press the eject button and you hear a sound like the drive tried to eject but could not. If I tap the eject button a few more times it usually comes out just fine. It does not happen all the time. Besides that problem it works great.

3) 1 Brand new Samsung pulled from a 1.6 and was manufactured in May 2004.
