1. i used the Itools splinter cell softmod,
just wondering before i buy a dvd burner,
with a softmod will it play a game if i copy it to another dvd?

2. also the pbl-metoo-m8Plus_16 bios, can u use that on any version or is it only for the version 1.6 xboxes? I read it here www.how2xbox.com, it teeches me how to change bios after softmod is done, but it only describes how to do this bios. and not the x2 bios. so just wondering can i just use the m8PLUS_16 on any version?

3. what is the file called that it normally uses to boot the dash, i seen duelboot.xbe, msdash.xbe and xboxdash.xbe or how can i find this out?
which one is the one thats loading when i turn it on?

4. this site is the best for learning to mod an xbox,
just wondering if there was an equivilent site for ps2's?
any awsome sites out there that deal with modding ps2's?

1. Yes you can do that
2. You can use either the EvoX m8 bfm bios that is included in the Metoo Package or use an x2 bfm bios (4981 or 4983 will work well)
3. It first goes to boot xboxdash.xbe which uses the modded fonts and boots your bios loader which in turn boots your alternative dashboard. (this is if you are using UDE1/UDE2/UXE)
4. PS2Newz.net / PS2-scene.org

In the case of ltools though, the boot order is like this:

xboxdash.xbe (hacked)
dualboot.xbe
Tray Open--> E:\Udata\000******\install.xbe (habibi signed)
Tray Closed--> E:\BiosLD\default.xbe ----> E:\Dashboard\Default.xbe
