hello all, long time lurker here. Just changed my dashboard from XBMC to UIX (fancied a change).

I booted up and got a 'out of range' message on my plasma, hooked it up via scart and it worked. my hdtv input doesnt support 420i.

so was wondering when 420p support will be implememnted?

cos up until then i cant use it

well... I guess I'm gonna just make your day ... just follow the instructions to hexedit the uix.xbe

The link below refers to the original ms dash but works the same for the uix dash. So instead of editing the xboxdash.xbe you edit the uix.xbe or whatever you named your uix executable.... link below..

Yes, it does need 480P automatically implemented, but using the Progpatcher.exe on the uix.xbe still works fine and makes it run in 480P. I use my XBOX with my Infocus X1 DLP projector. Also, I havent been able to test uix further to see if the DVD region is been disabled or not.. I only own one region 2 DVD movie.
