I just downloaded XBMC. I need to know what needs edited on the file to make the programs listed work. I would like to be able to hook up to the weather channel, play music off of the PC, etc. I am not sure what exactly I need to edit on xboxmediacenter.xml file. Just install xbmc in E:\apps and fire it up.Go to settings,network and fill in your settings.u can use dhcp and xbmc wils sort it out,but i had problems that way getting the rss streams to work. i choosed a static ip and filed in the values for the gateway,dns and netmask. U can find this values by using the ipconfig /all command in a dos box. Xbmc will now also be added in yoyr network so you can stream files from your pc. Of course i dont know your network setup,but i use a adslrouter.

In the XboxMediaCenter.xml file u can change some paths to your files or shares.
