Im using smartftp and am having trouble connecting to my xbox. I used ltools 1.75 and I have ftp server enabled. I tried to connect at 192.168.0.3 with username and password both xbox.

This is from mxm.xml I think that is where your ip is, I might be wrong.

Ok I think the problem is im using a router so I need to get a crossover cable. If I am wrong please help, if not sorry for making a thread and not searching harder.

The router should work fine with a strait cable...

Here are some questions that if you answer will help someone nail down
the problem for you...

What is the IP ADDRESS/SUBNET/GATEWAY of your computer?

What is the IP ADDRESS/SUBNET of your router?

and if your router has dhcp server built in, you
would do yourself a favor to enable it and use dhcp
to assign the addresses to your xbox and computer

I prefer static set addresses myself, but if you are new
to networking dhcp is much easier...
