Full Version: Ftp Problems
Have slayer 2.6 installed I ftp to it before with no problems, tried doing it again and now out of the blue it will connect but will not show any files/directorys it just idles..
257 "/" is current directory
TYPE A
200 Type set to ASCII.
PORT 192,168,0,1,4,45
200 Port command ok.
LIST
150 Opening ASCII data connection for ls /.
226 Transfer finished successfully. Data connection closed.
List Error
Tried it with IE and it just keeps searching.. Unstalled Sp2 same thing installed Xp pro sp1 same..
people will tell you that you need to change your ftp settings to non PASV mode, but this is wrong.
Load up XBMC and then ftp into your box.

yep - I was having the same trouble, rather abruptly.
I've been using evox and flashfxp for months now with no problems, but I reinstalled, using the latest version, and suddenly no soup. people say to check IP addresses, but clearly that isn't the problem here since it IS making a connection. fire up avalaunch dash and bingo it goes fine. must be some issue between evox ftp and new fxp version?
