the error i am getting while trying to flash means i have flash protect on. I know for a fact it is off on the chip but they also say on the switch, where is this located on the x3 pro switch?

oh and can anyone link me to a good guide on how to solder the lpc thing in....ive seen the ones where it jumps from not soldered to soldered but that doesnt help me that much

plus with my xapt3r i got a little pack of what i think are pogo pins...what are their purpose?

I don't have a X3 or the pro switch. But from the pictures of the switch I'm looking at their two plug that you plug in the wires. Here the link to the pic.

Here a link to the guide on how to solder the lpc thing.

Those little extra pins in the bag are rivets; they’re optional if you plan to use the adapter on a v1.0 Xbox because the LPC holes are filled with solder. They provide a flatter surface when fitting to the v1.0. If you do have a v1.0 I recommend you toss them out, de-solder the LPC holes and use the Xapt3r without them, you will have a better and tighter fit..
