I have been trying to Ftp with my xbox for some time but without success.

Status: Have installed slayer's autoinstaller evox dashboard on Xbox new HDD (80gb). Using a NIC card, crossover cable and FlashFxp. Connected to a wireless internet router through a second wireless NIC card. Also have a 1394 Net adapter listed but not sure what this does?

Problem: 1)can't connect to xbox using flashFxp 2) Don't know how to configure my computer so that FlashFxp uses the wired NIC while internet uses wireless. (Right now if I enable my wired NIC card, I loose my ineternet connection)

Settings: When booting up the slayer evox ip=o.o.o.o, Statci Ip=yes, other IP (static maybe??) =192.168.0.200 (but this can be changed as I am not using CD) Subnet Mask =255.255.255.0, Default Gateway= 192.168.1.1 DNS1=194.63.248.1 DNS2= 217.13.7.140, FTP enabled.

My wired NIC card settings can obviously be changed as can the settings on my xbox (again not using CD) Hope this information narrows the problem down

Personally I think it is a problem of managing the two NIC cards but really unsure. Please help me THX

My PC have 2 network adapters. Simple LAN and WiFi card.
Also i have wireless dsl router
And Xbox

My xbox ip 192.168.0.3, mask 255.255.255.0, gateway: none (thereisno nedd with this if you dont want to brobwe internet from your xbox)
My Wifi card ip 192.168.0.2, mask the same, gateway 192.168.0.1 (this is the IP of my dsl router.
So if i want to connect my xbox to the internet i must use 192.168.0.1 gateway settings.

default login and password to xbox are xbox:xbox
so i just ftp to it and see al the disks.

so the scheme is smth like that:

xbox(192.168.0.3) -> router(192.168.0.1) <- pc (192.168.0.2)

xboxt to router via cable, pc to router via WiFi

If you have XP, the two NIC's can be bridged in the pc and the IP address will be assigned to the bridge, for both nic's to use. It will be assigned a dynamic IP address,
but you can change it to static if you like. This should solve your problem.
