I assumed it would be a N/A V6 when it all came down to it. And I'm not really sure what engine's being used here. But still, it's about time Mazda got off their ass and did something with the 6.

I've been waiting to see how that would turn out as well....

I remember reading about plans for the AWD turbo 6 in Motor Trend a while back...

it's not nearly the monster they'd predicted (V6 twin turbo) but very worthy none the less...

I don't know how much of a competitor it is to the EVO and STi as it's more a competitor of the Legacy GT, Volvo S60, or Saab Aero. Never the less still very cool, very quick, and very pretty (all the new Mazda's are so pretty)

Yeah, I too was hoping for the TT V6. I know Mazda has TT variants of the KL03 (Probe GT) engine floating around in their workshops. One of those would have fit the bill nicely. But this is still another great AWD car to hit the market. It has very nice looks, and while it won't compete with the EVO and STI up front I feel a bit more comfortable myself under the hood of a Mazda so it will be a viable option for me once I get around to thinking about a much newer ride.

I was hoping for that setup in the 3, but it is cool in the 6 too.

Now if they made an AWD turbo version of the 3 that could probably compete with the WRX/Saab 9-2x (I know same thing but there really isn't much in the sub $25K AWD turbo market)

forget that its just more towards the high class awd i mean look at it the pic is focused at the late 20's to mid 30's bussiness man its just not something that i would drive it looks heavy almost its just not my style

Not a bad highway cruiser in stock form.

I like the interior of the mazda. Its pretty! Especially if that (popup?) screen could be used for dvds and stuff
Altima NEO
Uh oh, wheres Mazda 3 man? Regreting not waiting for a 6? =P

That looks pretty sweet though. I wonder how that compares to the V6 Altima.
