Here are my specs:
AMD Athlon XP 2400+
1024MB PC3200
ATi Radeon 9600 256MB (450/450)
250GB Western Digital HDD
Chaintech nForce2 Ultra 400 (7NIL1)

Im trying to overclock my 2400+ to 2800+ speeds with clockgen, but when I restart or after a while it resets and goes back to the regular speeds, how can I force the settings to stay?

P.S. I once had reset my BIOS but I put the jumper back in the right place and I loaded the optimized defaults and everything worked great
