Hi
Here is my 3 year olds Barbie/princess xbox.
The clear coat messed up the paint a bit but she still loves it.
3 years old and already a hard core gamer!

I didn’t have the funds or the time to get a custom jewel but I will be getting one some time this year.

I don't have much of a preference towards pink, or Barbie, for that matter, but the only thing that counts is if your daughter likes it.
Kudos for you going out there and making something your daughter can enjoy.

Very Nice My 7yr Old daughter is getting jealous as we speak (type), I'm thinking of doing a similar XBOX but my daughter likes "BRATZ" so I was gonna air brush some of the BRATZ characters on her XBOX, I've got until March to finish so I'll post when I'm done. Once again nice work.

now that's sweet. when my daughter gets old enough i am going to do the same for her. but make it her's pink and purple. i think you may have a few too many stitckers on top, but that's just my taste. as long as your daughter likes it, that's all that matters. great job.

my five year old daughter addy-brooke would love that barbie box, she loves barbie, of course she also likes dora, kim possible, proud family and tons of other cartoons also, the disney channel is always on in my house on one of the 4 tv's. i've thought about getting her a xbox or ps2 but she already has a gameboy sp and she loves to steal my nintendo ds to play super mario 64 ds.
i got her that v-smile game system for her birthday and i think she's played it three or four times, that's why i'm hesitant on getting her a real game system...at least til she's a little older.

Thanks for all the feedback.
She turns 4 mid April and she knows her way around the PC already. I started her off early so she will be programming in first grade. LOL
I made her a custom UnleashX skin with her characters and a picture of her and her sister.
I made UnleashX list the games on the root menu and install her games to the HDD but she prefers to put the DVDs in herself.
At first I panted my box to spider-man to please her but she grew into the Barbie faze. So I made this one for her.

Now I get to paint mine for me! LOL

i gotta ask. what games does a 3 year old play on an xbox? dont take that as a flame. i got a second box and was going to give it to my 5 year old boy and 7 year old girl, but doesnt seem like enough games for them. especially 2 player games for kids that old. so we got them a gamecube instead. if i get clued in on enough games for them, maybe i'll pick them up one after the "rumored" price drop. would be nice to have a lot of their movies on the hdd as well.
(btw, the second box became my "live only" box when i got banned during the "november banning fest")

Younger kids don't actually have to be able to fully play games to enjoy them. My 6 year old neice loves xbox now and can play a lot of games completely by herself but when she started she really sucked. However, she was completly content playing Disney's Extreme Skate adventure for hours on end and all she would do was use the joystick and direct the character (usually Timone and Pumba) around the screen. She played that game for months and never used any other buttons but the joysticks. Gotta start them young to build better hand eye coordination.
"Researchers found that doctors who spent at least three hours a week playing video games made about 37 percent fewer mistakes in laparoscopic surgery and performed the task 27 percent faster than their counterparts who did not play video games."

As for games
there was a program on with a 4 year old playing halo1....He was as good as me!! It was osmething about psychology and what lickle kids llike to do n shit. But the point is he was (almost) as good as me... Alien blasting at that age cant be good for the mind lol.

She learned with Barbie horse because it shows you the buttons by colour.
But she quickly learned the letters on the controller.
She is now a Sonic pro and plays mostly the following games:

Crash Twinsanity
Disneys Extream Skate Adventure
Disneys The Haunted Mansion
Dr. Seuss Cat in the Hat
Frogger Beyond
Grabbed by the Ghoulies
I Ninja
JSRF Jet Set Radio Future
LOONS The Fight for Fame
Nick Toons Party Blast
Rayman 3 Hoodlum Havoc
Scooby Doo Mystery Mayhem
Scooby Doo Night Of 100 Frights
Sharks Tale
Shrek
Shrek Super Party
Sonic Heroes
SpongeBob Square pants Movie Game
Spyro
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles
The Simpsons Hit & Run
Tom and Jerry
Ty The Tasmainian Tiger
Ty The Tasmainian Tiger 2
Vexx
Wallace and Gromit
Whiplash
I spoil my kids.
Computer games and her Leappad have been amazing tools also.

hah, I'm not buying all this "4 year old daughter" crap. Its ok if you like barbie, you can admit it.

j/k
seriously though, nice job it looks real good. Did you paint over the original jewel? or is that something else? I kinda like it plain white like that. And thats a hell of a lot of video games for anyone, let alone a 4 year old girl, but more power to you.

That spider box is fuckin awsome too, those controllers are sweet.
nice job

yeah, guess i can see it now. some of the games i wasnt aware was on xbox (probably because i dont look for them, only was going by what i had noticed).
my 5 year old is a sonic maniac. hes got sonic heroes and that other sonic mega collection for the gamecube, along with that disney skate game, vexx, and some other game so far.
maybe i'll cave in when the price drops again. we'll see. i'll have to make him a power ranger box or something. my 7 year old isnt into games as much. she actually enjoys <gasp> reading </gasp> more. what an odd child

LOL That actually happened. On the weekend I had my bro and cousin come over for a LAN party and for some reason that one defaulted to pink when I called the player “Princess” LOL
Played until 2 am. HALO 2 ROCKS!
Mechassault 2 wasn’t bad but brute force sucked!

Wow i wasn't aware there were that many games either for the younger crowd. Looks like my daughter will be getting her own modded box when she turns 3 (next October), and if the price does drop. My six-year old nephew likes to play Finding Nemo by himself and sometimes gets to jump into our Halo 2 Slayer matches. He just runs around like a chicken with his head cut off.

Sonic Heroes
Frogger Beyond
The Simpsons Hit & Run
Crash Badicoot
and thats about it.

Ya that's a damn nice pink paint job my friend, lol
But ya, I'm pretty sure it'd look better w/o those stickers, lol
That spidey box is pretty cool looking too...
Not into anime, think it's for childish nerds, but that's just my opinion, no offense to anyone, lol. Whatever floats your boat (or sinks it for that matter).
But anyways, good job on all the xbox paint jobs
