hi I was wondering how to install this bios. I'm very confused because there is so many different files under the bios directory. please give me a step by step instructions unless there is a site that tells me how. please help me out and if there is other dashboards I can install on my xbox which is version 1.0 please tell me which ones I can. thanks Luke

All you have to do is connect FTP - send that bio so root C - then go to Xenium OS - Launch - then to Add New Item - choose FLASH - then choose root C - and then find the file - choose anme and led color and this will add the bio. Simple ha

there is a bunch of bat files and exe files also in there. there is two bins files too so which one do I transfer over x2_4983.06_256k.bin or x2_4983.67_256k.bin? and do I transfer over the bat files also or what?

The bat files are there to make the bios' larger. You don't have to touch them, simply transfer over 4983.06 if you want F to get all the remaining space or choose the .67 (which means F+G really) over if you have an extremely large hard drive/want a stealth F/G install.

can I simply just put this on a cd-rw and than update it from there? also do I have to rename the file to bios.bin or just leave it as is. One more thing the file came with an x2 config tool and it says I need to put it to app so how do I do that and do I really need it?

Just open Nero, select "Make a data Disk" or the equivelent, Select the Bios file (no need to rename) and a large dummy file (any file 200-350MB in size) and burn. Make sure that you select Disk at once, FINALIZE and no multisession...burn at lowest speed to either a DVD-R or a NEW FRESH CD-RW!

Then pop the disk in at the launch menu and goto make a new launch item, select flash, navigate to D:\ and choose the bios file. tada!

I have xenium ice 2.0.1 and if I put a 2.1.0 version dummy file on there will that work or does it have to be the same version dummy file?

i have not tired putting it on a cd-rw, but why waste one? you can also put it on a usb thumbstick and it should show up as drive "H"

and you dont need the config tool, i installed it, but i there is no need for it and can do without it
