well, i have been doing alot of dongle mods for my cheap ass friends and i keep running across some dongles that i cant get to work. Some were oficial ms dongles(i think) and some were aftermarket. The wires are switched and the red wire is on right side. SO if been assuming that it was the 5v and the one on the left is the ground. I havent tried is any other way. Anybody know something i dont? thanks

well the controler port output of the xbox will never change (unless you mod it to be different), so it doesn't matter what color the wires are, pin 1 will always be pin 1. check voltages with a multimeter if you're still unsure.
