is there a way to update a v1.0-1.5 softmod using 4981.67 bios? i know it has a standard one it uses with the exploit but is there a way to modify the bios bootup sequence and fan speed a little bit?

there isn't a standard bios for an exploit. you can use any bios you want although nkpatcher is the best stuff out now. for basics or frequently asked questions look in my sig.
