I got some dupli-color paint cans, chrome and clear coat smoke to be exact. I just finished putting several layers about an hour ago. I checked just now and when i touched it, was dry but some girtty dried paint stuck to my finger, kinda like sand, not much though. It did say on the cans that it should dry w/in 15 min. and able to handle in an hour. So my question is will that gritty paint stay on there even after it fully dries or will I have to wipe it off with a damp towel later on w/out affecting the paint job?

i dunno if this helps but the grittyness is from not shakeing the can hard or long enough and it spits chunky stuff when u spray it

ok, i have a feeling its the clearcoat as i haven't used that spray can in a while. i did shake it quite a bit though. but i just wiped off the excess with a damp towel with ease. Will be getting pix up soon.
