i just fudged up my case, i tried putting super glue to hold something in and it just fogged up like a bitch. i dont know what to do now, either buy a new front faceplate, deal with it, or use my black one wich wont match the rest of the case. or somehow get it off, i took some nailpolish remover and tried it on a small area but it just melted the plastic. anything i can do?

try like oops or something or goo gone i dont know

tried goo gone, cleared it for a min but got white when dried, goof off=melt plastic

ya its right on the faceplate near the power/eject buttons, i think i will just sand it and try to give it a frosted look or put like black tape over theat area to make it black in the center and with the led's it will glow a little, now i need some cover up help

I covered up that area using a black plate from a normal xbox (just the little square piece - you can see a photo of it in the thread in my sig - cant remember which page - try page 4.

If you dont have s black xbox, you could just paint that little square on the back side.

ok but the super glue is on the backside, so if i paint the backside ul still see it foggy, and its a 3rd party case, you cant remove the plastic piece from it, its all one piece

good thing its one of those 3rd party cases, i thought you were dumb enough to do it on a real crystal.

if i had a real crystal case i wouldnt touch it with and questionable ideas

you could always fog your case, i think that looks better than the *crystal* clear cases.

how do i fog it, ive seen someone do it with sandpaper, didnt look good you could see the grit lines

use some window foggin spray.

ok i already sprayed one coat of black, if that doesnt work out il try the fog

EDIT i also didnt like the idea of being able to see the LED lights and the difuser, it kind of defeated the purpose of the defuser cuz u could already see the light

if it's just the 3rd party case, u can buy that front piece seperately, forget where, pm me if you want to know and i can look for it.

i wouldnt buy it for more than like 3 bucks, its not too important, il just paint it black, i like it liket hat anyway

its too late, i already put paint. but if ur rreally interested in what it looks like, find a piece of clear hard plastic and put a drop of super glue on it, look at it after a day and itl be all coudy/foggy in that area
