Full Version: 3.03 Flashed And No Xbox Reboots 3 Times

I have recently installed a xecuter 2.6 with the xapt3r and i had it perfectly installed with the bios showing when i turned it on i just flashed the modchip through cd and now the xbox reboots 3 time and then flashed red. Please help

i have the same problem with my xecuter 3 and xbox 1.6b (see my topic below) i can't get in the flash menu. i thing i'am getting an other chip
Sounds like you have the wrong bios, there is a seperate bios for the 1.6v. I had the same problem. I flashed my x3 with the 1.0 - 1.5v bios and got FRAG. Loaded the 1.6v bios and it works great.
Sounds like a bad flash to me. Check the latest versions of the BIOS on the Team Xectuter website.
Remember that for the 1.6 or 1.6B ver Xbox, you need the 1959_1.6PLUS (X3) BIOS - not the regular 1959.

If you flashed your X3 with the wrong bios no problem to get back to the flash bios screen reset your xbox in the 256k backup mode this will put you back in the flash bios screen. press and hold the power button and disk eject button and the little X will turn purple. then reflash with the 1.6v bios. that is the best part of the X3 if you make a mistake you can fix it.
If you still cant get into the bios screen then you need to check the solder joints on the LPC rebuild. go to team xecuter and the have a tutorial on this.
Dont buy a new chip just yet.

The only problem that I've seen with this, rush, is that most of the backup BIOS's seem to be 3.0.0 or .1 - and rarely 3.0.3. SO - if you have a 1.6b and mess up there 5678 banks (where the 3.0.3 normally is) then you're stuffed !!

i cannot boot with my backup bios, al blank screen....so that's no option.
maybe 3.0.0.1 backup bios.
I think I should set a FLASHING centre for the poor and needy Xecuter chips that have been mis-treated !! lol
