In MXM, when I go to Dashboards>MS Dash, I get the error 21 message. Any help with this?

What you need to do is locate where your ORGINAL ms dash is (normaly in the C: directory) and make sure its the orginal xboxdash.xbe. What might have been done whoever did the "mod" or whatever used that xboxdash.xbe name for the new dash. so what you will have to do, is get another ORGINAL xboxdash.xbe and rename it to something like msdash.xbe and use your mxm.xml to point where the ORGINAL dashboard is!!!
something like this::

<SubMenu>
<Media>C:\ms.wmv</Media>
<Thumbnail>C:\ms.png</Thumbnail>
<SortField>Title</SortField>
<Title>Orginal M$ Dash</Title>
<Description>Orginal M$ Dash</Description>
<Item>
<Exe>C:\msdash.xbe</Exe>
</Item>
</SubMenu>

Thats just a sample of what I did. Hope this helps ya!!! GOOD LUCK!!

If I knew where the MXM .ini files was, I'd be able to do that. I cannot locate it anywhere on my Xbox. Where is it usually? MXM is not my Main Dash, EvoX is. MXM comes up when I press the eject button. Hope that helps you help me. =]

then you can uninstall and reinstall.
What version of the softmod did you use?
Details? We need details?

Take care

It sounds like, either you or someone else softmoded your xbox...

in which case you want to look in the sub folders on your C drive for the MXM files... they will probably be there.... what the name of them is may vary depending upon the softmod... but if you look in the subfolders for a file called MXM.XML... that is the file you are looking for... it is not an ini file like evox uses... it is a XML file that is what MXM uses for it's configuration file... XML not INI...

anyway... look in the subfolders on the C drive... I would have to guess that you will find it in them somewhere...

when I softmodded a xbox for my friend... the files were located 3 folders deep on the C drive...

Best of luck...
