i must find or build another proton core... i've found the proton core, but it's locked into its bay.. how i can do to open that f***** bay???

I know you figured it out but for future reference if you get stuck there you need use the console. Unlock the bay then launch it. It will error and you can remove the core from the bay. Hope this helps someone in the future. I know I got stuck there.

when i did that part, i had it figured out, but the console does not look like a console so i missed it and os ran around the ship uselessly. i wish it looked like more than just a square on the wall.
