Hello I been having problems to get a XBOX Ver. 1.3 to work with a Aladdin XT 4032. What's happening is when the power button is pressed for the 2 second count and let go the XBOX reboots to the factory default software. I'm not able to get the chip to be recognized. A friend of my said for me to install all nine wires that is required, but from all the installation guide that I have seen for this XBOX version I have not seen one that tells me to install nine wires. I have seen these wire on the XBOX Ver. 1.6 but not the one that I have. Can someone shed some light in my problem. Big Thnx from The Saint.

you sure you've got a good connection to d0 ?

also u could try putting a little wire from "BT" to point "2" on ya aladdin where the quick solder pads are (this will force "always on" mode) and let ya know if the mod is working or not.

... and wires on bottom of m0b0 (lpc re-build) are only required for v1.6

The nine wires bit your friend is reffering to are the connections to the LPC and the bT etc.
I assume you have connected the chip to the LPC some way.

Not if the D0 is not connected correctly. It won't make any difference.
With the XT Ground BT, Ground Xbox D0. grounding the Xbox D0 forces boot from the LPC Grounding the BT is needed on most XT for always on due to the CPLD code
If the machine Frags in this state then your LPC points are bad.
If nothing happens(just boots m$ bios) then your D0 is bad.
