My Xbox recently died on me. I had been on live for about 3 months without being banned or any other problems. When I transfered my WD 120g HD from my old Xbox to my new xbox I got banned within a couple of days of the transfer. I've been reading these marriage theory posts and all of them say you can move a non-virgin HDD to a new xbox without being banned.

So now that I have been banned can I copy my old xbox eeprom onto my new xbox? or have they banned my HDD?

The banned your HDD serial numbe - which means you cannot use this HDD anymore for LIVe - I think there is a thing that you can change your serial number, but I don't know
