I have a modded 1.4 with an Xecuter 2.3b lite chip in it. I was cleaning some of my old crap and I found 2 more Xecuter 2.3bs. Using the same connections (header pin and well secured front d0), I tried both of them. They both frag when on but boot M$ dash when off. I then put my old chip back in (not touching the connections) and everything was happy time again.
So this means that there is a problem with the chips, correct? I tried both banks on each. No Cromwell, no Xecuter. Might they be salvagable if I reflashed them with that 2.6 programmer? Any help would be greatly appreciated. THanks a bunch.
