My xbox was working fine at 100BaseTX-FullDuplex getting speeds around 8-10MBps both ways. I am using a crossover cable to a Linksys 100tx ethernet card and running XP. The last thing I did was change my skin and put on a couple movies then I disconnected my xbox and brought it to my friends house to watch the movies. When I brought it back 3 days later and hooked it back up to the network it would disconnect when transfering files using a 100BaseTX setting. I watched the green/orange lights on the back of the xbox ethernet controller. When trying to transfer a file the yellow light would turn off after about 5 seconds then turn back on over and over again. I changed it to 10BaseTX and it worked fine but the speeds are annoyingly slow. So my question is why does 100BaseTX not work any more??? It worked fine for over a month before I took my xbox out of the house. Any suggestions???

it got droped or kicked? heh... have you tried 100tx @ half duplex? Never heard of this except when there are framing errors or collisions but you shouldn't see this in such a small network/direct connect to a PC.
