I have been following the installation tut. for the X3 on a version 1.0 from teamxecuter.com. In the guide, it has pictures of getting out a 1.0 motherboard. Then when wires start to get connected, specifically the power/eject no soder adapter, they are using a 1.4. On my xbox, which is 1.0, there is a little vertical part to the motherboard that is stoping me from attaching the adapter to the chasis. I have searched the guide and this forum for anything addressing this, and couldn't find anything. I hope someone can help me discover what I am doing wrong.

the tutorial is for the X3 on XBOX v1.0-v1.5

you are correct that the Reset/Eject Adapter would be in between the USB daughterboard and the chasis (in a XBOX v1.0), but the adapter will fit
