I bought a MAxtor Harddrive and I wish to use it in my xbox. It came with a serial ata cable and not a ribbon, how would i connect it to my xbox? is it even compatible? thanks!

No, Serial ata hard drive will not work.

Only IDE/Ata/E-IDE will work. SCSI and SATA will definatly not.
