I put a 200gb maxtor hard drive in my xbox today, used slayers install cd to format and everything, but for some reason my xbox i only recognizing around 130gb on the f: drive.
I am currently using the Evox M8 bios on my chip. Is there a special bios I need to get in order for my xbox to be able to use the full drive?

hmmm... YOu may have better luck using XBPartitioner to be able to reformat the F drive (partition 6) to make it larger. slayers did this for me automatically on a 160GB drive, but on my 250GB drive, it put 132GB on F and the rest on G. Check to see if it made a G drive.

you need a bios ending in .67 it allows for drives bigger than 137gb
like evoxM8_16_06 is for 137GB or under
but evoxM8_16_67 is for over 137GB

Since you are posting in XCHIP forums, i asume you have one already installed.
Why dont you use the Evox XCHIP BIOS version 1.3, it supports both large F drive and/or F+G
Besides that, using that BIOS is the only way to experience the full potential of your chip!

Grilf,
I installed the xchip evox bios, the newest one from xbins, and it does not see my F and G drives. If there soemthing I have to do to make it detect them?
