can u play burned games with a softmodded xbox, like if it has evox. if not what can u do exactly when its softmodded?

Youll just have evox;) if you want:P you can choose any dashboard you like but when you use UXE it comes with evox
well i'll make this distinction (for future reference). UXE is just an exploit that comes with no dash, no language, no nothing. just a hacked xboxdash file and some fonts...
when you download certain packages, they'll give you different things. uxe complete come with nkpatcher10 and evox, french installer come with pbl-metoo (i think) and evox, waffletools uses unleashx etc. different packages, different options, all the same UXE

once evox or any dash is put on the box what is the easiest way to reverse it back to normal? can u just use like a gamesave exploit to restore it back?

the uxe gamesave installer doesent come with evoc it comes with unleashx.

You make it sound there's only one gamesave installer. there are more and some come with evox.
not to mention that with a manual install, the sky is the limit! or at least what's available at the usual places is the limit....
i found the Ltools package version 1.7.5 in the usual place. is this pack any good? it comes with pbl metoo or nkpatcher for the bios loader/patcher, X2 4981 or evox m8 for the bios, and for the dash it comes with MM or evox. im not even sure what kernals i have, or which UDE to pick. or which dash to choose. also, if i did set it up this way, would i be able to update to the latest version of my dash, for instance evox? i know i have a version 1 xbox.
The iTools package you have is very good, run the save file from your specified game, install and choose evox as the dashboard. Once you have it up and running you have the power to install any homebrew software you like.
To restore after u install the hack, make a nice backup of ur C via FTP b4 i install the hack.
If u ever wanna revert, just put the original C back.
