I know I was stupid for renaming it but I did'nt know it would give me error 13. NOw I dont have FTP access anymore. I have the mechassault save where it takes me to the MXM menu but it wont load.

Is there anyway I can fix this?

Is that the only way? Does splinter cell let you load a save game/checkpoint off a memory card from the game?

Yea, that's what i was thinking. Although my save thats on the harddrive wont load. So I was thinking the Evox one would. BUt MechAssault wont let me load from Memory card, will Splinter Cell or 007?

No splintercell wont let you load savegames of the memory card so you have the hotswap;)

If you backed your partitions up to your pc, and the eeprom, use xboxHDM to format the drive, and install your backups to the drive again, no hotswapping needed and it will be good as new. I believe you can unlock the HDD in xboxHDM if you have the eeprom.

Try live update with Halo 2

do not try live update with halo 2.. that could be bad.. HOTSWAP that bitch.. SC and MA dont allow game saves off memory cards not sure about 007 tho.. hopefully you have your eeprom so you can just unlock it and throw something else on there.. g/l
