Any body know how to add other skins to MXM dash. I cannot locate a skins folder of anysort, nor can i find the folder for the default skins either.
Any help is appreciated.

in the default skin folder place the skins in there
like this:
defaultskin
|
(your unzipped skin folder with xbe inside) like blackbox Jess or mxm live

Hope this helps and the wording is correct. Im at work and can not verify.

I have no skins folder.

Some people say that if you just put the folder (for example, Matrix) in a folder named "skins" on the C drive it'll detect.

I have a file in my C drive, you can make called "MXM.xml". You can edit it in notepad and put the following text.

<Config>
<Main>
<SkinsPath>C:\Skins</SkinsPath>
</Main>
</Config>

Now create a folder in the C drive called "Skins". Then put in the folder containing the skin yopu want in the folder. For example, the folder "Matrix" contains an Skin.xml file and some wma files, etc...

then reboot..and that should do it

try that and it should work
