Sorry if this is the incorrect forum.
I have a 1.6 XBOX with a Super Aladdin Live modchip installed.
All was well until today when I accidentally overwrote the EEPROM with config magic.
Now all I get when I turn it on is 4 quick green flashes followed by 4 slow green flashes (Power button), no video, no audio, chip has a blue LED on but obviously not active.
Am I right in thinking that I need to get an Xecuter 3 because only 4th gen chips don't need an EEPROM and that I can put the EEPROM back from my backup?
I take it the SAL chip can't boot without the EEPROM in working condition?
I tried the cromwell/eeprom.bin patching method, but seeing as how I can't boot to the chip, this won't work.
