I've had a modded Xbox almost a year. I purchased it Pre-modded and it is an APPLE-X mod xhip, soldered

Recently the DVD drive has started to faulter so I purchased a new one, I installed it OK but accidentally knocked the blackwire loose to a point where it cannot be re-soldered.

I have realised that a solderless chip is more up my alley so I have 2 questions

Is the Xenium Ice solderless any good?

and

I used to hold the power button for 1 second to activate the chip and used the eject button to power the Xbox up for Live?

Will this chip allow me to do the same?

The Xenium ICE solderless is very easy to setup and use, good chip, installed in about 5 minutes

As far as live goes, when you update the Xenium OS, you can select the Retail Kernal as a boot item and that will let you play on Xbox Live
