[B][FONT=Arial][SIZE=14][COLOR=red] Hey guys, I cant get my v1.1 Xbox to stop fragging with the 2.6 lite sodierless installed. It has something to do with the do wire I believe. Although it is in the right place, when it is removed it wont frag. But when in the right hole, it frags. I was flashing my 3.03 bios and when It turned off, I rebooted. Thats when the fragging began. Please HelpPics

okay sounds like a bios problem.taking of the D0 wire just takes the chip out of the loop thus no fragging.
exactly what bios were you flashing to the chip?

also, I dont think it is the bios because I used the right bios. I followed a guide that is at this site I did it all correctly......so whats wrong? It fragged before but I just adjusted the chip. But It wont stop this time.

ther no need to flash it with flashbios as that comes on the chip at purcheas(unless you flashed it previously)
you need to flash a hacked bios to utilize the chip.

which version of xbox do you have?
to find the uptodate xecuter bios then check there site(link on front page of xbox-scene)
unless you have a 1.6 then its an evox bios you need

to get the bios you need to visit xbins on iirc(tut on front page)

anyway just saw your post,the solderless adaptors are notorious for being tricky to get aligned. dont know much about them as ive always soldered.

I do have a hacked bios. The one I got from a visit to Xbins. I can't flash it because it is fragging.

okay so you cant get into a hacked bios you already flashed
do you have slayers?and if so have you tried booting it with it in the drive.

do you have access to another modded xbox where you could flash a bios to your chip in there?
failing that it may be you have to buy the programmer to flash the chip although i would make totally certail its not down to the positioning of the solderless adaptor

I have slayers but I have never used it can you tell me how to burn it using nero? I dont have access to another modded x-box..Im the only one in my little town that has one. I think I have a programer if you could send me a pic of what one looks like I could tell ya...Ill check one more time that it is not the positioning......also, sorry for the slow replys, watching the superbowl!

I checked the allignment and it is fine because without the chip, the Xapter has all blue led's. Only when the chip is on is it fragging, or if the chip is on and the DO wire is unplugged, then it works but it boots up the regular ms Dashboard.

also, do you have any IM's? And where can I get the clear case mod u have in ur sig?

the clear cases in my sig(and site) are M$ cases
slayers is just burned as a normal ISO.
personally(and for many who have struggled)i recommend alchohol 120% to burn the ISO
just use the image burning wizard(you can get it on a free trial download
