Well, i just got the new halo maps loaded onto my hdd and now i have Halo, and Halo Maps.... BUT it shows as Halo for both.. Can i change the name to make my Halo Maps show up as Halo Maps.

Yes...you can do it w/ many apps.....if you run qwix on your pc....just select rename .xbe and change it there. Otherwise most xbox filemanagers have the option to rename aswell.

Avalaunch allows renaming of xbe's on the HD already. Its the white button I believe when in the games menu.

Some dashes support it like UnleashX and Avalaunch. On your PC you can use xberenamer.

Ok, so lets say i change it in ava.. then i load up evox later, will it still be what i changed it to, or only in ava?

When you use UX, Ava, etc. to change the XBE Name, you make the change to the xbe itself, and will be reflected in any dash/app.

EDIT: In ava, its definately not the white button in the games menu.

Since i was using Ava to begin with, i just used quix. Easy and painless. Thanks for the pointers everyone.
