Ok, i've search back and forth this forum and some other sites, but none describes how to get into the flashbios, all that they explain is how to get the bios into cd or transfer it via http/ftp/cd etc.
my question is how can i get to the flashbios menu itself ?
is it by getting into xconfig (pressing the white button during boot up) ? in the xconfig i found some kind of bios flashing menu, but unlike any of the screenshot for flashbios 3.x and it doesn't want to read the cd-rw (used the cd-rw to play divx fine in xbox).
I did try the switches trick on on off off off, but all that it boots up is to the dashboard or to the config (if I hold on to the white button).
FYI my chip is the x3 and the box is 1.6
Tried pressing both eject & power button (the x logo become orange) but the screen is blank
Is there some specific way to get into the flashbios menu ?
or how to update the flashbios to version 3.x ?
