Hi there,
I've install about 30 codecs for xbmp and i changed the config.xml to find my files but how come when i try to ftp video files (.avi, mpeg...) , about 80% of them can't be ftp to my box. How come?
I can i put those files in my hdd using ftp prog ? (I use smartFTP).
ps: ( i tried to ftp those files to different location on my hdd even in the playlist xbmp folder and still nothing )
Thanks.

and what??? where do I put the files in xbmc??
And how would I ftp more files to a different folder just by having xbmc in the apps section?

-Not that I've ever tried, but as far as I know, you cannot add codecs to your XBMC, but you can get the latest version of XBMC, with updated codec support.
If you are having trouble FTPing certain video files, it's probably due to a long a$$ filename, that the video had, when you D/L it. Rename it to something shorter, as in just the title of the movie. XBOX does not like long filenames. There has been a few instances where I've had to rename videos, and the problem is solved. FTP's every time.
