Allright i'll break it down for u:

1. I modded my brothers xbox with the ldots method, UDE.
2. During the mod it asked if i wanted mxm or evox, of course evox.
3. it finished up and i unplugged his xbox HD from PC and reconnected to xbox.
4. loaded xbox and low behold evox was there.
5. FTP to xbox and went into the f drive, tried to create a directory and it just stood blank.
6. Ppl tell me i need evtool. and am confused
7. went to the usual places and got the file: metoo-m8pack-v1.0.zip. and this is what it had in it: evtool folder, source, M8_LBA48_IGR_Q-06-BFM.bin, default.xbe,
boot.cfg.

My xbox: smartxx modchip, tHc dash, 120 gig HD, and best of all the hard casing in which it is in.

let me explain in more detail

there are two versions of evox

1. installs evox and all applications to the f drive

2. installs evox and all applications to c drive

but if you used the stock hard drive to run evox f drive has zero megs free because the xbox doesn't use the f drive on the stock hard drive so your f drive doesn't work...

now if you are installing a new hard drive using slayers evox installer and using the format utility under that version of evox it would of auto configured everything for you and you wouldn't have to worry im sorry to say you killed your brothers xbox sorry
