Use a program like dvd2xbox to backup your game, then transfer it to your computer if thats what you want.
You cant see whats in you D:\ because its a cd/dvd-drive and it doesnt get shown on FTP because its irrelevant, and you cant copy from CD via xbox to computer. You need to store it on your xbox HDD before you can transfer any data.
Like i said use a program like dvd2xbox to backup your game, then transfer it to your computer.
Works 100% with my games. Good luck!

I think it IS shown via some FTP apps. I seem to recall being able to back up games at some point without ever using my xboxs hd or even a program like QWIX thatll make an XISO right from the D drive.

lol this same thing happened to me not long ago... turns out it was a problem with flash fxp. put in your disk in the xbox drive, then exit out of flashxp and come back in, it should be there... why i dunno.

Rylinkus is right, the files should show. Why dont you try cleaning the disc?

Qwix is a great program for this, and works flawlessly for me!

What?..of course you can see the D drive from your computer. Make sure your give it a couple of seconds after putting the disk in so it reads it and then start your FTP app. Try also hitting the refresh button on the FTP app.
If not then there is most likely something wrong with your disk.
Traferring the game to the hard drive and then to the computer its just doing it twice, waste of time.
