I got Mercenries on my HD, and in a certain point in the game it freezes. Has anyone had this problem and how did you fix it...?...Any suggestions welcome..

I got the same problem, gotta wait till a patch comes out.

Where does it freeze at, because mine hasn't froze yet, and I have mine on the HD?
Yea same here, i've played all the way through and have had no problems (after you get over the size issue).
1.Clean the cache folders. Drives :x:y:z and everything inside E:Cache
2. If your dvd-rom sux like some thompsons and phillips, then you might have gotten corrupt data while extracting the files to your HDD. Cleaning the drive with a laser lense cleaner might help.
