I hope someone can help me out here!

Out of the blue, my Xbox (Matrix chip, Evox, 100GB WD7200) stopped working last night. I reset it and it never came back up. So I turned it off and turned it on again.

This is what it does now - You press power, it tries to boot, but shuts off almost immediately. Then it does it again. The third time it will come back up and flash red/green, then it will turn off again.

I tried re-seeding the mod-chip. I got it to boot up "green" with the modchip in test/disable mode. When I'd switch it back to mode 2 or 3 it reverts to that same wierd booting error.

I don't know if my mod chip is nuked or if my xbox is. I'm going to try reverting to my old HD and taking the chip out and see if I can get it to boot OG style. If not, do you guys have any suggestions, or have you encountered this before?

still not aligned properly. if its a 1.1 box, you really cant go by the led indicators, as they behave differently on a 1.1

keep realigning, and keep trying, eventually youll get it.
