my DVD drive is REALLY starting to piss me off. for 1, when i take it out, its all good in the hood, when i put the mother back in, its a totally different story, its not sitting in there right at all! its like, not going down all the way, so when i go to pull it out to reposition its like someones in my xbox pulling down on it so i cant take it back out, it gets stuck, its EXTREMELY frustrating dealing with the dvd drive for 20 minutes until its somwhat positioned right, i come very close to jumping out my bedroom window along with my xbox, does anybody have this problem, what can i F*N DOOO1O3O1OO1O3O1O3JILDJF;SA

so your saying you took the whole drive out of the xbox and are trying to put it back in??

I had a problem where my dvd tray would get stuck so what I did is take the DVD drive coveroff and examined the drive. I would open and close the tray manually to see what was going on.

i took the HD and whole DVD drive out w/ tray, ive done it many times but all of the sudden its giving me trouble, btw, i was removing ports and there are currently no ports in there

I've sorta had those problems, but I figured you just have to wiggle it around and hopefully it will fall back into place. I don't know what causes it to not go back down but it does really make me angry sometimes.
