if you want....mostly any xbox (aside from fucked up or broken ones) can have a mod chip added to them... from the way the guy described it i dont know if i would buy that one though...good luck!

I would advoid this one personally, this looks as if he has taken it to bits for more than the reason that his son wanted to have a look inside.
I could be wrong, but that is my tupence (0.0379127 cents)

looks dosgy to me, anybody could put an xbox back together with there eyes closed so why would he not do that and sell it complete and working (not knowing what cables he says are missing. He seems to have taken a photo of it in pieces which i think is dd as if i had a son and he did that i'd slap him then put in back together not start taking photos
AVOID (my suggestion anyways

yeah looks not so safe..i dont understand why he wouldnt just put it back together himself...unless he broke something in which case you dont want the xbox anyway....i would be willing to bet it doesnt work. He also said that he is sellling it for parts...not to be used as a whole...because some part is probably broken

What's all that plastic crap on the inside of the dvd tray!?!??!
Stay away unless you get it for like $20

yup, twenty $ is the most you should pay... and you probably wont get it to run right away 'cause all the cables are missing too....
doesn't look like a good deal IMO

If you can get cables, go for it. If its a scam, report him to ebay, send it back to him, and call your credit card company. If he scams you, your credit card company will refund your full purchase price.

I would stay away from this one unless u think u can fix wateva he has dun to it and get it cheap.
Y would u waste an Xbox just to show ur son how it works? U may as well just find pics on the internet

if you look closely underneath the dvd drive you see the yellow power cable the ide cable and notice the plastic bag which has screws and probably whatever shit he broke so when u get it he can laugh at you. avoid it

like he said your buying the xbox for parts = your buying a broken xbox
my son wanted to know how the xb worked = he fucked it up
so unless you really need small parts staw away.

keep searching on eBay. there's bound to be new ones on ebay.
But you have to be quick specially on the buy it nows!
I just scored a 1.6 for $50 (buy it now). it only needed a psu. I'm gonna try to restore the psu so i don't have to buy one.
This is my second v1.6 on eBay (nonmodded) for <$70
They're out there so keep looking!
