never made an iso of anything before, just mac data cd's for backup.
Using PowerMac osX 10.2 and Toast titanium5.2.
downloaded an xbox iso
burned using toast referencing the macosx iso burning guide by eiruz
over at
xbox scene osx guide(many thanks eiruz)
the resulting cd shows no files when inserted into my mac, should it?
my xbox has no mod chip yet and i am just experimenting until it arrives

No, it shouldn't. In fact, Windows doesn't recognize the volume at all. XDFS (scene term for the Xbox Disc File System) is not readable by any OSes to date, though a 3rd-party plug-in would be nice.
As a side-note, I feel I should clarify some terms thrown around here a lot.
XDFS - the casual term used for the file system itself on Xbox game discs, an acronym for Xbox Disc File System.
GDFS - MS's official term for it's file system used on game discs, including specific layout as well as some other elements; an acronym for Game Disc File System.
GDF ISO - an ISO file created using GDFimage, indicating that it is encoded in MS's GDFS, including the abovenoted elements.
