hey sry i searched and searched the tuts and the forums but i couldntfind any info on this idea. Its a relatively easy mod and i could prolly do it myself without askign but i wanted to c if anyone had done it. i want a clear dvd cover like the ones that come with the cheap aftermarket cases. I have tons of plexiglass sitting around and want to use a piece of it. what would i glue the spindle on with?

heat gun it and melt it to the current lid that'll ensure you've got everything lined up, then glue spindle into place with epoxy glue, dries clear and if you're careful you won't notice

i just made one a lil wile ago out of a cd case and some duct tape

im about to make a completelyclear case for my dvd drive well jsut all the part thats metal im replacing i just took ti out and it would be impossible for me

this is for my clear case im mountin maybe an external dvd drive thats on a hing so i can get it started to read the flip it vertical to make a smaller case

really what im planning is a completely modifiable thatl look nice not necacaraly external crap but modifiable with hinges ittl look great
