hello alll i have made a xbox underglow, and the pics are below tell me what you think......





and here is a pic of my conytroller i recently painted....



i need some ideas on how to mount the leds i dont want them sticking out from the botton....

so any coments.....

how come you didnt wire the underglow to a single + and - ?

cos if the wire to a single + and - i will have 12 leds in a parallel and so i wil neeed aprox 5ohm resister if i want run it for 5v.... i could not get 5 ohm resistor where i live so if i do only 6 leds in a parallel i will need an 11.33 ohm resister and so i can use a 12 ohm resistor which i can get here in australia

Nice underglow I was going to do mine that way but decided since it is only 2 LEDs per side that I am just going to hotglue them to the front panel.

Your controller also kicks ass.

Forget what NoFear said, the paint doesn't look thick.
It looks GREAT, nice and shiny.

i know im gunna get flamed but those led's would look great if you get them to shine from inside your controller and get an awsome and erie glow.

ok i finally finished it.....
the leds stick out a bit but that is good cos when looking from the front you can seethe leds glow and so it looks realy nice, all picture are with day light......
ill post some night shots soon
