would llamma's samsung lazor found here work in a 1.6 samsung drive? is it all swappable?

im not to sure on this one but i would say no they are after all differnt drives and the 1.6 is lower quality than the oringal so i would have to say no

well...i tried tweakin the samsung in my 1.6 b/c it wont read cd-rs...and now it doesnt read anything...but still functions (ejects..ect)...and i kno this is prolly a easy fix

There are two pots on the DVD-ROM drive, one is for DVD's and one is for CD's if you had searched you would have probably found out which was the one for CD's then you could have turned that, a slight turn on these makes all the difference, but if it don't read CD-R's in the first place, chances are it never will.

Probably the samsung laser would fit any samsung DVD-ROM drive aslong as its a standard xbox one ie 605 then i don't see a problem with fitting a replacement laser.
