Ok, last time I lighted my jewel with a cold cathod off of a 80 mm fan. This time I'm going LEDs from 123LEDs.com. I'm getting 2 bicolor 3mm LEDs to replace the eject light, and 8 5mm LEDs for the jewel. My question is how many, and what rating resistor(s) do I need to order for the jewel LEDs? I know this is a common setup so I'm sure I could get a quick answer. I need to order soon. Any tips for doing this mod for the first time?

how many and what rating/size is up to you.i use 3mm for all my mods.
for the jewle i would say about 6-8 gives a good light
